The Tipperary in Berlin Wedding is tucked away in a side street in the bustling district of Wedding. The Irish pub welcomes guests with a large terrace for warm Berlin days and nights and the promise of live music, sports broadcasts, and other events. During our visit, we quickly realized that the Tipperary in Wedding is a pub full of surprises—both positive and negative.

Ambience
The pub welcomes guests with a mix of cozy, traditional flair and modern elements.
Inside, you’ll find a classic Irish pub atmosphere, while outside, the large terrace beckons.
The interior is designed for socializing. There is a dartboard.
Our tip: Feel free to challenge the staff, but be prepared to lose.
You can also watch sports broadcasts on several TVs.

One unique feature is the cake counter right next to the bar—something we’ve never seen before in an Irish pub.
The music is Nico-approved: we heard a colorful mix of Supertramp and The Offspring.
The crowd was very mixed, and for a Saturday, it was very quiet here until late in the evening. The atmosphere was therefore rather too quiet for an Irish pub. But that may also be because there was no event taking place that Saturday.
Band rehearsals usually take place at Tipperary on Saturdays from 8 p.m. Unfortunately, we were only at the pub during the summer break from June to August.
There is also a monthly pub quiz that you can take part in for €5 per team.
And every Sunday, the neighborhood meets here to watch Tatort together.
Friendliness
The service was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. It should be noted that the waiters and waitresses here mainly speak English. This is of course a big plus for the many international guests at Tipperary. The friendly and relaxed manner of the staff contributed significantly to the feel-good factor.
Drinks
The drinks menu at Tipperary Berlin offers a solid selection of Irish classics. A pint of Guinness costs €6.30.
In addition to Guinness, we also serve our beloved Newcastle Brown Ale on tap—and you can order both directly in a pitcher.
For shot lovers, there is a great selection, including classics such as Baby Guinness and the Irish Flag Shot, but also a “Mexikaner” for a change. And if you want a mixed drink, you’ll also find a Poor Man’s Black Velvet and other mixed drink variations here.

Food / Snacks
Let’s be honest: the menu is huge and varied. It seems to have EVERYTHING, from burgers and schnitzel to Koenigsberg meatballs.
We opted for beef roast and a cheeseburger with wedges. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The dishes seemed like pure convenience food and were hardly convincing in terms of taste. Christiane described the cheeseburger as the “most disgusting cheeseburger ever.” The beef roast wasn’t really convincing either, which was a shame.
The only bright spot on the menu were the wedges, which were super crispy.
Our tip: Go somewhere else for a delicious meal beforehand and then come to Tipperary for drinks, to watch soccer or rugby, listen to live music, or take part in the pub quiz.
